We are an ideal venue for those who want to engage in a fun activity with snacks and drinks at a private venue. At the heart of the CBD, the entire venue will be yours with racing cars, 12 -16 VR stations and another 6-8 people to sit on sofas to watch the activity across the venue plus have snacks and soft drinks.

The ViriVR Experience will engage your senses through 50 minutes of immersive virtual reality. It involves 40+ VR experience, including the Plank, Racing, Flight Simulator, Puzzle games, Rhythm games, Shooters and more! You can spend your time however you like – try every game, or stick to what appeals most to you! This experience now provides one private booth for every player in the group, in addition to access to the shared stations.

Our minimum age is 10, as younger children tend to be overwhelmed by VR, and they are often too small to operate some of the games, or fit the headset. Additionally, if a child struggles with their lefts and rights and/or reading comprehension, they may require some help from a guardian to navigate the games and menus.

ViriVR is at 10 Queen Street, Melbourne CBD under the name Apsis VR. We are a five minute walk from Flinders Street Station.

If you are diagnosed with epilepsy, you should not play virtual reality as some of the animations may trigger symptoms.
If you have a diagnosed heart condition, we suggest you obtain medical advice before playing virtual reality as some games can be strenuous.
We recommend that pregnant women and elderly customers take care when playing virtual reality as you may need to move around. Our staff will be able to recommend suitable games.

Booking is strongly recommended. ViriVR opens early/closes late if there are no bookings, and if we are open we cannot necessarily guarantee space for walk-ins. Game sessions start every hour on the hour.

Contact lenses are highly recommended, as glasses can be difficult to fit in the headset. Glasses with smaller frames can fit inside our headsets so feel free to bring them just incase. If you’re short sighted, VR is often fine without glasses.

Very few of our games cause motion sickness in players. From experience, if you are worried about become nauseous, we recommend steering clear of the racing and the flight simulator.

No, we do not currently offer any food or drink on our premises. You can bring your snacks with you!

There is a paid car park around the corner and limited paid street parking available.

Yes, you can book out part or all of the venue for your corporate event, birthday party or other event. Please put in an inquiry via our Contact Page and we will get in touch with you!

Reschedule

If you need to reschedule, you can do so via our booking system through a link received in your booking confirmation email. You can also call us during business hours. You must reschedule at least 24 hours before your booking.

Cancellation

You may cancel with at least 24 hours notice. You must contact us by phone to cancel. Any cancellations within 24 hours of your booking will be considered a no show, and you will not be refunded.

Refunds

Refunds, cancellations or reschedules are not permitted 24 hours prior to when the game is booked. Refunds, cancellations or reschedules requested 24 hours prior to your booking will be provided at the sole discretion of the owners and staff of VIRI VR.
If less people attend the game than are booked, the price difference will not be reimbursed, unless otherwise agreed by VIRI VR.
If more people attend the game than are booked the extra can be paid by cash/credit card upon arrival at the game. However availability will not be guaranteed for the additional participants.
Game Masters reserve the right to provide a refund if you feel unwell and otherwise cannot complete your experience.

Corporate/Party Groups

We require at least a week’s notice for refunding a group event, refunds are provided at the sole discretion of the owners and staff of VIRI VR.
